Stefano heads up the Black Knight Army running group in Italy. I have been named Lady Julie:) I love it! Giorgio also runs in the Black Knight Army. Both Stefano and Giorgio run in many different races all over Italy. They are so lucky to live in such a beautiful country:) I love reading about all of their running adventures! Many of the races they enter give wine away as part of the swag! Nice:) I started to read Giorgio's blog shortly after I started blogging a little less than a year ago. Shortly after becoming one of Giorgio's followers I found Stefano's blog through Giorgio:) I love finding new friends who live in different countries. I also read blogs from England, France, Holland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. I love all of these blogs because we all share the same passion for running or have other special connections! At any rate, I feel blessed to have met these wonderful people through blogging! You all know who you are....love you all:)
Here I am wearing the lovely yellow shirt from Giorgio. Thank you Giorgio:)
I went running this weekend with the St. Cloud River Runners and will post later tonight on that. Lets just say we had a little adventure! We ended up getting lost some where in Big Lake! More on that later........

I certainly hope Big Lake is a town and not a body of water. The water is cold up there this time of year! :-)
ReplyDeleteHow cool! Giorgio and Stefano are the best! :)
ReplyDeleteNiiiiice :-)
ReplyDeleteisn't it amazing reading about others who run in totally different places, totally different lives and yet we feel so connected!
ReplyDeleteI also love connecting with people around the world. Isn't internet great? Thank you Al Gore. :)

Yea, it's wonderful to share our experiences with like-minded runners throughout the world - a great big universal running club with a common interest. Come to think of it Julie, it's very nice to have met you too!
ReplyDeleteAll the best....
I love that they shared those shirts with you! Very cool. I think we need to plan an American running bloggers trip to Italy, what do you say?
ReplyDeleteNice shirts! Hope you have a great week :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome shirts! I love reading blogs from other countries too. One problem though, it gives me too many more races I want to try out! I have so many in my own backyard...how will I fit all these into a lifetime and pay to get to them all?!
ReplyDeleteWow, super shirts from two super people! I enjoy their blogs and I'm like you, I love the bloggers from all over the world. It is wonderful to share our passion. Did you know, your's was the first blog I followed.
ReplyDeleteNice shirts! Wine swag sounds pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteJulie you are too cute :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Reflective shirts are essential now that it gets dark so early!
ReplyDeletefun! next time ask if they can send the wine? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you think those shirts are useful with little reflective designs on them.
ReplyDeleteYou are a very dear friend Julie! Thanks for your kind words.
Thats sooo cool, thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteGreat shirts! What a nice thing to do!
ReplyDeleteOne of the coolest thing about blogging is that it's like having a bunch of pen pals...though without the cool international stamps, and now you have those too!
Me likey! =)
ReplyDeleteThose reflective parts on the shirts are SO NICE! What great timing for getting those shirts! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comment -- I can't believe I PR'd on a net-uphill race! The hills were crazy, and my legs feel totally trashed, even today! I'm thinking of running a flat course soon. I've been told that if this race were flat, I could cut another 3 minutes, and if the weather were nice, I would have cut another minute! I can't even imagine running a 1:49 half marathon, but apparently that's what it equated to... I think I'll have to test it out to see for myself! I think my next goal will be 1:52, but I won't be too upset if a 1:49 happens. :P
I can't wait to run with you again! Napa to Sonoma half, baby!!!!
Have a great week. :)
xoxo,
A

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing you in Anoka in a couple of weeks - Thanksgiving is coming so fast, I can't believe it. :)
One can never have too many running shirts.
ReplyDeleteThat's really sweet of Giorgio and Stefano. I read both blogs too. We love to go on vacation to Italy and that's one of the reasons I love their blogs and they're very nice guys.
ReplyDeleteSweety: Holland and The Netherlands are the same  The Netherlands is the official name and Holland the popular one.
But I love reading blogs from different countries for the same reason as you. I love to read how people in other countries live, do things etcetera.
No problem on the video!!!! I was REALLY surprised that Amazon didn't have my name on there - I didn't say that it was a gift so I assumed (incorrectly I guess) that they would have put it on there.
ReplyDeleteI really really love that movie. For some reason it tugs at my heart strings every time I watch it. I hope you like it!! If it doesn't you excited to run another marathon, nothing will ;)
