ReplyDeleteJulie, I came across this link that has TONS of info on foot issues, including burning toes.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_5/191.shtml
There are a couple items in there that describe what you were describing. Hope this helps!
Good for you to give yourself a rest day, naps are GREAT and you deserve it!!!

ReplyDeleteHey Julie-
ReplyDeleteWe're blog dummies - what the heck is a tag? :)
S
Julie, thanks for the award! I love catching up with you each day, and you never fail to brighten my day. Thank you for that, especially:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Trails makes me smile and laugh. I did not about the tagging thing until everyone was getting tagged and not me. Thanks Julie. You make me smile and laugh with every post reading you actually run in below 10 degree temps. Actually running in below 40 temps has the same affect. Thanks for the rays and smiles Julie.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for tagging me! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to have a nice recovery day. Those are always welcome! :)
Thanks for the Sunshine award. I sure could use a piece of sunshine today. :(
ReplyDeleteHey, I noticed that you posted on another's blog about doing a run/bike sometime down the road. I just wanted to let you know, before I forgot, that there is Irongirl in Bloomington, MN in September. It's a run 2 miles, bike 22 miles, run 2 miles thing! Just thought you might be interested!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tag and so gld that you are recovering well. Glad you had a good day off, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Cali love Jules, you are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteA two hour nap is great - glad you are recovering!
ReplyDeletenice! Accidental days off are the best. Sometimes you just need to take a 'mental health day'. or, I guess in your case a foot pain day!
ReplyDeleteThank you VERY much for the sunshine award. Hopefully I don't let you down! :)
Hahaha! I just tagged you too. You DON't have to tag anyone else! Congrats on all of your sunshine awards!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling good after the race! Oh boy, I love the rare chance to hang out at home all day in comfy clothes!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you got some downtime....I'm off to check out some of the bloggers you tagged...have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow, a lot of new blogs to follow, and thanks for the tag!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I thought that you had a new post. Maybe my reader isn't working right. Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful weekend Julie!!!
ReplyDeleteKeep on running!
Maine and NH in Feb. are not soaking in the sun visits. But there will be the ocean smell, the ocean view and seafood!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love naps, and take them every weekend! Glad you are recovering well! Did you figure out what was the issue with the toes?
ReplyDeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post on my blog. I am a little east of you in Anoka county.
I have gone to the darkside for a few months, and have been doing most/all of my training on a treadmill.
I might do a few road races this year. Maybe I will see you one of those (I am not a big fan of the 5K. It is not my best distance).
Hey Julie - for some reason I didn't get the email. If you want, try the email address adamrisu(at)yahoo.com - where you replace the (at) with @.
ReplyDelete(I didn't want to type it out because sometimes SPAMers will have robots search webpages for email addresses - crazy right?!)
