Duluth Or Bust....Grandma's Here I Come!

Well, I am attempting to be all organized and pack everything needed for my little trip up to Duluth, Minnesota for Grandma's half marathon!  We are planning on heading out tomorrow at noon:)  I hope that the road construction is at a minimum and that we make it there in a timely manner.  I am pretty darn excited for my very first Grandma's experience!  It is a beautiful course right along Lake Superior.  I promise to take lots of gorgeous pictures to share in my race recap!  I want to really enjoy running this one and plan to soak it all in.  My main goal is to have a great time...drinking may or may not be involved post race:)  Just kidding, drinking will absolutely be involved!  I hear that it is one big party!  Perhaps a post race beer will be on my agenda.  I need to make Jamoosh and MCM Mama proud:)

My race starts at 6:30 AM on Saturday:)  Please send me run fast vibes...a little cow bell would be nice too!

My next post will be Sunday afternoon.  Good luck to everyone else running this weekend!  Happy running, biking, swimming and lifting!  Cheers to you all!

  21. Have a great race!

Btw on my blog, those are cucumbers, there wasn't really a recipe for it I just fried up the halloumi in a non stick pan, boiled up some wholewheat pasta threw some chilli sauce on it and put it on the plate with the salad which was chopped little gem lettuce, sundried tomatoes, green pimento stuffed olives and cucumber. It was a really simple lunch :-) Hope you enjoy it if you make it!
